This metal walkway used at an Effluent Treatment Plant, after years of exposure to chemicals, is deteriorating and is unsafe for walking. Needing a non-corrosive platform, they turned to fiberglass grating.

 

 

 

 


DURAGratTM provides a safe and non-corrosive walking platform that is quick and easy to install. Installation was performed by their own maintenance crew. The end result was a cost-effective and safe walking platform that is both non-corrosive and easy to install.

The floor of this chemical plant was soaked in a chemical solution and these wooden pallets had to be used as a temporary solution. Unstable, unsafe, and unsightly, a new corrosion resistant platform was needed to solve the problem.

 

 

 

 


DURAGratTM provides clean and neat and the walkway laid on the ground provided a non-slip, non-corrosive walking platform that was easy to maintain. Stainless steel feet were used to raise the grating off the ground and the sheets were then bolted together with stainless steel joints for maximum stability. The solution was quick and easy.

This chemical plant needed corrosion resistant grating to cover the channels. Maintenance freedom and corrosion resistance were their prime considerations so they turned to fiberglass grating.

 

 

 

 


DURAGratTM Fiberglass grating offers a corrosion resistant and easy maintenance solution. We were able to fit the grating to their specifications which resulted in safe walking conditions.

This platform was on top of a 6 Meter high tank. The tank is filled with brine, which proved to be highly corrosive to the existing walkway became dangerous and had to be replaced.

 

 

 

 


DURAGratTM was able to build a new platform and DuraRailTM handrail system made entirely from DURAGratTM grating. The platform was lifted in to position using a crane. The resulting walkway is lightweight and completely corrosion resistant
