DuraGratTM MOLDED FIBERGLASS GRATING DuraGratTM High Strength Molded Grating is the ultimate in fiberglass grating. Dura is the only manufacturer to offer this stronger grating at the same cost as the standard molded grating. The most advantageous quality of the new grating is its ability to withstand more weight at a greater span, therefore gaining a competitive advantage against metal gratings and other fiberglass grating products. This innovative process is achieved by realizing higher glass content, although not compromising any of the other inherent qualities of molded grating such as corrosion resistance and fire resistance. DuraGratTM High Strength Molded Grating is now an ISO 9001 Certified manufacturing process and can stand up to the most corrosive environments and provide years of service.

DuraGrat^TM is light weight and easy to install, requiring fewer man hours and simple hand tools for installation (the installed cost is the same as steel and over its life less expensive). Our quality assurance team subjects DuraGrat^TM to extreme tests for chemical resistance, ultraviolet resistance, impact resistance, load carrying capabilities and strength. DuraGrat^TM is slip resistant and non-conductive with a flame spread complied to British Standard BS 476 Part 6 and Part 7. DuraGrat^TM High Strength Molded Grating meets the requirements for grating used in the most demanding industries such as chemical, refining, offshore, pulp & paper, food & beverage, marine, water & waste treatment, electronic and plating.

DURADeck® Covered fiberglass grating is a new type of grating with 3mm thk. Cover on DuraGrat^TM and is often used in loading and storage areas. Other applications include food processing facilities where covered fiberglass grating walkways prohibit contamination to work surfaces below. It is also suitable where covered fiberglass grating provides a walking surface and controls subsurface odours. Other uses include walkways over tank tops and vats.

DURADeck® is manufactured with chemical resistant resin and includes a fiberglass gritted plate cover to any standard grating thickness. Covered grating offers a strong, level surface for foot or wheeled traffic and provides approximately 30% higher stiffness values than open mesh grating. The standard grit-top surface provides perfect anti-slip flooring. Alternatively, a checker-plate top surface may be desirable where fork lift truck operations take place. The smoother surface will allow loaded trucks to turn more easily.

Mini-Mesh Grating

New for 1998, this mini-mesh grating has holes that are only 13mm x 13mm square.

The grating is 30mm or 38mm Thick and has the smallest holes of any fiberglass grating in the world. Because of the close bearing bars, this grating provide us extreme and superior strength. In stock now in Green, Yellow, white or Grey in sheet size of 1000x2000mm, 1000x3000mm and 1000x4000mm. The weight is only 16 kg per square meter and has a 42% open area.
