and Fibreglass grating is used extensively throughout industry as an alternative to traditional materials such as wood or steel. Fibreglass grating is a square mesh grating used for flooring on platforms, walkways, bridges etc. Its benefits are enormous. It is completely corrosion resistant, lightweight, easy to install and will give many years of maintenance free life. It can last 4 or 5 times longer than steel.

Our grating is available in 3 sheet sizes. 2m x lm, 3m x Im and 3.66 x 1.22. Green is our primary colour but Yellow and Grey are also stocked. Our grating can also be manufactured in any RAL colour. This is particularly useful if you have corporate colours and you would like a colour match.

and Fibreglass grating is manufactured in depths of 25mm, 30mm, 38mm, 50mm and 63mm. A hardwearing quartz grit can be added to the walking surface as an option to prolong the life of the grating and also to provide maximum anti-slip properties. Food grade grating without the grit surface is also a stock item. Yeungs Fiberglass Company keep a stock of at least 2000 square metres of grating at all times.

Our 25mm grating weighs just 11 kg per square metre and the 38mm grating weighs 18.3 kilos per square metre making it light enough for one person to install on his own without the need for forklifts or hoists etc.

Covered Grating (DuraDeck) Covered grating is available with a solid one-piece laminate surface, offering a light-weight, strong, anti-slip flooring panel. Gritted surface can be added to the laminate surface panel as well.

Gritted Grating Gritted Grating has Quartz Crystal bonded to the top surface giving to the top surface giving a very effective and hard wearing anti-slip surface.

Concave Grating The Concave Grating is particularly suitable for hygiene applications such as the food industry due to its very clean top section.

Pultruded Grating Pultruded Grating is ideal for a wide range of applications, it offers the same high strength-to-weight ratio as our Fiberglass Grating. The main benefits of Pultruded Grating, apart from its aesthetic appearance, is that it's designed to span greater distances.

DURADeck® Covered fiberglass grating is often used in loading and storage areas. Other applications include food processing facilities where covered fiberglass grating walkways prohibit contamination to work surfaces below. It is also suitable where covered fiberglass grating provides a walking surface and controls subsurface odours. Other uses include walkways over tank tops and vats.

DURADeck® is manufactured with chemical resistant resin and includes a fiberglass gritted plate cover to any standard grating thickness. Covered grating offers a strong, level surface for foot or wheeled traffic and provides approximately 30% higher stiffness values than open mesh grating. The standard grit-top surface provides perfect anti-slip flooring. Alternatively, a checker-plate top surface may be desirable where fork lift truck operations take place. The smoother surface will allow loaded trucks to turn more easily.

In addition to improving safety standards DURADeck® provides excellent chemical resistance, is easy to install, and offers long term durability. The gritted anti-slip surface has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface. Consideration should be given to installing Fiberglass Fabrications, Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics Drain Covers, Glassfibre Stair Treads, Glassfibre Steps, FRP Floor Grid, Moulded Grating and Non Slip Flooring.
