While steel grating requires costly and time-consuming cutting and welding, along with special lifting equipment, DuraGrat and DuraDeck®’s grating cover involves fewer man-hours and only simple hand tools for installation. In fact, the savings on labour and equipment often make the total installed cost of DuraGrat and DuraDeck®’s grating about the same as that of steel; and considering its long, maintenance free life, DuraGrat and DuraDeck®’s grating offers a significantly lower overall life cycle cost.

For enhanced worker safety, Dura®’s molded grating is slip resistant and non-conductive, with a flame spread rating unsurpassed by any competitive product.
